Modern Medical Establishment was founded in 1985 in Amman, Jordan by the late Dr. Abdullatif Abukhalil — a pharmacist of rare distinction who helped shape the pharmaceutical landscape of the entire region.
Dr. Abukhalil was among the first pharmacists to practise across the Arab world. He served as the second Chief Pharmacist in the UAE during the formative years of the federation in the 1970s, and later became Managing Director and co-founder of Modern Pharmacy UAE — one of the Gulf's earliest professional pharmacy institutions.
Born in Tulkarem, Palestine and educated at the University of the Punjab, Dr. Abukhalil brought an international outlook and an unwavering commitment to professional excellence to everything he built. His legacy endures in the standards, relationships, and reputation that MME upholds to this day.
